Description

RAISED BIN STAND

Our raised bin stands are just what you need in order to take waste management out of your routine. We know that you have a lot to do.  Taking your refuse bins back on to your property when the waste collectors miss a day need not be one of them. Leaving it out means that dogs could leave an unsightly mess for you to clean up. Our raised bin stand allows you to put your bins out on your scheduled collection day and forget about it.

We’ve also added a handy hook where you may put separated recycling items such as plastic in a bag. The mobile recyclers simply collect it whilst on their rounds, without having to go through your refuse. This gives them their dignity back, allows them to earn a living, and also ensures that as much of your waste is recycled. Just don’t forget to compost your biodegradable waste!

INSTALLATION ADVICE

We recommend that you have professional installers install this equipment. Our technical team are proud installers of these lights and may help you to identify the best place to install the stands.

WHAT’S ALL THE FUSS ABOUT A RAISED BIN STAND?

  1. The City Council charges you about $15 monthly. If you put your bin out on a stand on the scheduled day, you guarantee collection and don’t waste that money.
  2. When you leave bins out on the ground, even for a few hours dogs can rummage through them, making a mess for you to clean.
  3. Neighbours may take it in turns to deliver recycling materials left on the hook to the nearest recycling point. Churches such as River of Life have collection points, with proceeds going to charity.
  4. If you separate your recycling and hang it out on the hook for mobile collectors, you give them back their dignity and a sustainable livelihood
  5. You don’t need to pay for private waste collection or to keep up with Council delays if you simply put out your refuse on collection day. Note that most illegal dumping is done by unscrupulous private waste collectors.
